  Returns Policy

Due to the nature of the shipping requirements that Lights of Christmas needs to adhere to, we calculate shipping after your order is received. These calculations are based on:

  • weight of the item/s you order
  • size of the item/s
  • number of item/s you order
  • the distance from our shipping centers to the delivery address
Once your Product Information request is received, we will contact you and discuss your products, costs of the product(s) and shipping.

Lights of Christmas Returns Policy

Merchandise sold by Lights of Christmas, Inc, is of the very highest quality and we stand behind our products. All merchandise is carefully inspected prior to shipping. However, from time to time, due to circumstances beyond our control, some merchandise may need to be returned for credit or replacement due to damage while in transit.

All shipments should be inspected immediately upon arrival for defects in lighting and/or workmanship. Claims for returns due to visible damage must be made within ten days of receipt of the shipment. Failure to report damage or shortage claims within the ten day period may result in refusal of the claim by our freight carrier.

All merchandise returns require pre-authorization by Lights of Christmas, Inc and you must obtain a Pre-Authorization Return Number. Contact us at (205) 426-5099 or by email at inquiries@lightsofchristmas.net . Returns without the Pre-Authorization Number Clearly marked on the outside of the returned package will not be accepted by Lights of Christmas, Inc. No returns are accepted after November 30th. The returned product must be in the original packaging with all pieces present and accounted for. In the case of damaged or defective products we will replace the said item(s) if available or credit your account.

Refusal of Delivery Policy

If the customer refuses an order upon delivery, the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges that result. The customer will also be responsible for a 15% restocking fee. If the order appears to be damaged upon delivery, Please accept the delivery and contact us immediately for further instructions.

Cancellation of Orders Policy

Cancellation of orders must be made to Lights of Christmas, Inc and received by the Sales Department at (205) 426-5099 or by email: rosa@lightsofchristmas.net within 15 days prior to the date that the order is to be shipped i.e. the ship request date. Lights of Christmas will then issue an Order Cancellation Number at that time. The cancellation request is not authorized until the Sales Department issues the Order Cancellation Number. Therefore, all cancellations without an Order Cancellation Number will result in a 15% restocking fee plus any shipping and handling charges if applicable.

Returned Checks Policy

All returned checks are subject to a minimum collection fee of $30.00 per occurrence. All attorney fees and court costs as a result of a returned check are the responsibility of the customer.
